the pirates came out swinging in the first game against one of the toughest teams in the 50 division the Tribe and got some key hits from Bob domzalski Paul Lee and Tim Sullivan>The Pirates also played solid defense behind great pitching from Tim Sullivan who threw 7 innings of 2 hit ball.Great start Pirates !!!!!

The lugnuts came out on fire with 7 runs in the 1st inning but the Pirates chipped away with 2 in the 2nd and 2 in the 3rd and and 7 of their own in the 4th to take the lead and hold on 11-9

Pirates won another close game against the tough Diamondbacks. the score was 1-1 through 5. the d's scored 1 in the 6th to take the lead 2-1>Pirates came back in the 6th to take back the lead for good , this one could have gone either way. Tim sullivan pitched a complete game and scattered 5 hits
The pirates ended the season on a winning note outlasting the Tigers 14-5 using 3 pitchers and getting 3 hits each from mike Dalmonte, Mike Samyn, Jim Bell, and Matt Venturino. Ready for the play-offs
