The game-time pitching thin Tigers called on veteran Danny Wilde to carry the load and he delivered, scattering 7 hits and striking out 4 over six innings in the Tigers 8-3 win. Overcoming late inning wildness, Danny earned his second win of the season. He was helped by strong defensive play including another outfield assist from Glenn Therrien as he gunned down a runner at the plate on a perfect throw from leftfield. The Tigers jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and the offense was lead by Terry Weathers with 3 hits, 3 RBIs and a monster double. Mike Kimutis also knocked in two as well as hitting a double. Kenny B legged out a triple and scored two runs. The Lugnuts tough luck starter Rick Birch pitched well as he struck out 8. Post game show was hosted by Sam, Mike and Glenn in the absence of team beaverage director Pat Brainard.
