Tigers get their first victory of the season with the return of Ace Greg McGlone to the mound. McGlone started the game but Eddie Collins snuck out the win. The bats were hot with RJ Navarre (2-2, 1BB) Jeffrey Morcom (2-3 with 2 RBIs) Mike Kirunchyk (2-3, 1 RBI) and Mike Orick (1-3 Double, 2RBIs). Next up the Woodpeckers at the rock quarry.

The Strohs was at the ballpark again and the Tiger's bats lit on fire scoring 13 runs in the 1st inning and batting 17 players! All 10 players had at least one hit with Mitch Katsuda going 4-4 and Mike Orick, Tom Borkowski and Jim Taylor all going 3-4. Dan Konczal got his first MSBL little league home and Borkowski was last seen heading to the weight room. Collins went the distance striking out 6. All the outfielders (RJ Navarre, Mitch Katsuda and Glenn Therrien) made at least one great catch and the defense held up until the 5th when the Strohs started calling from the parking lot and at least 4 errors were made. Thanks to the many rainouts the rematch for these two happens Saturday at Hamtramck.
